You can add or take out anything you want with this recipe! If you do not want it to be vegetarian you can add a pound of ground beef, or some shredded chicken, or even use a mock ground beef to keep it vegetarian but add more protein! You can top it with cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips, avocado, or anything else you desire!
Seasonings are also all up to you, you can make it as spicy and flavorful as you like, though I always recommend garlic, cumin, and paprika and use about a tablespoon of each to start. You can always add more seasoning later, but can’t take it out once it is in!
